I am a contemporary textile artist whose practice explores the relationship between material, process and place. Working across knit, cloth and stitch, I create tactile textile works inspired by the geometric forms, patterns and rhythms found within the everyday environment. Through close observation, I translate these visual encounters into abstract compositions that explore structure, repetition and materiality.

My work is rooted in feminist perspectives on textiles, considering the historical associations of knitting, weaving and cloth with women's labour, domesticity and care. I am interested in how these traditionally overlooked practices can be recontextualised within contemporary textile art, where repetition and making become both a method of construction and a space for reflection. Themes of quietness, solitude and attention run through my practice, shaped by the slow and repetitive nature of handmaking.

Working primarily with natural fibres and hand processes, I aim to create works that invite close looking and a slower engagement with material and form.

I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from Nottingham Trent University. My practice has since evolved towards contemporary textile art through an ongoing exploration of knit, cloth and textile-based processes.
